New Cricut Products: 

A new machine, the Cricut Cake Machine. This is an all food safe machine that will cut gum paste and fondant. It comes with  an exclusive cartridge, but your regular Cricut cartridges will work, too. The machine will be available in April.

Here's one of the make n' takes, a cupcake. The brown top is a scallop circle made from fondant. The white piece is a gum paste flower. The colored pieces on top are sprinkles (not cut with the Cricut).

New Cartridges:   Cricut says that the will be releasing over 100 new cartridges this year! So far they have announced Once Upon a Princess, Heritage, Sentimentals, Songbird, Forever Young and Tie the Knot.

Scrapbook Yard Sale on Feb. 6

The Fellowship of Scrapbookers is sponsoring a Scrapbook Yard Sale on Feb. 6. The details are below and more info can be found on Debby's blog.

FOS will be hosting a Scrapbook Yard Sale. 9 am to 4 pm
We are renting tables to those of you that would like to sell items.

Fees from Table Rental goes to Watershed Fellowship and in appreciation for all the times they allow us to meet at no cost. I hope we are able to help them with the lighting that we would love to have. (Although FOS has left it to the discretion of the Watershed Fellowship to apply it to it's most immediate need). FYI: This is indoors.
Cost of Tables:
8 ft will be $15
5 and 6 ft will be $10
4 ft will be $6

We have limited amount of tables. First come first serve. If you would like to reserve a table contact me at DebbysDare@gmail.com.

You will be responsible for collecting the money for the sale of your items.
You are welcome to share a table with a friend to share your costs.

Those who want to buy: Come prepared for a ton of fun (shh, don't tell my husband but I know I will not be able to resist some of the goodies.) I hope to have a general list of some of the bigger items before the sale to give you a taste of what's coming soon.

January/February Class Schedule

The class schedule on the right side of my blog has been updated for January and February. I bought a Gypsy and have added a class on Gypsy Basics in January. I have also updated the Cricut Character Class and changed it so that you bring your character cartridges and paper and make any character you want, not just Mickey Mouse.

January/February Schedule
Cricut Design Studio - $30 - *Audit the class for $15
This hands-on class will teach you how to use the Design Studio software in conjunction with your Cricut machine (Original and Expression). You will learn how to weld words together, cut words or images out of the middle of shapes and make an object outline. We will make a scrapbook layout for our final project.
NOTE: A laptop and Cricut Design Studio software are needed for this class.
PRE-REQUISITE: Creating with Cricut class.
Level: Intermediate*Don't have a laptop? Audit the class for $15

Creating with Cricut - $30
You will learn all of the basics of the Cricut machine (Original and Expression) as well as how to get the most out of your cartridges in this hands-on class. We will make a scrapbook layout for our final project.
Level: Beginner/Intermediate

Cricut Swarm - $5
Join us for a Cricut Swarm – a scrapbook crop with Cricuts. Bring your machine, cartridges and your own projects for an afternoon of fun and sharing. We will share our ideas, cartridges and Design Studio cut files for the afternoon. Refreshments and drinks will be provided.

Cricut Character Cartridges - $25
Learn how to use your Character Cartridges. We will make a giant character and scrapbook page and learn tips for using your character cartridges, cutting out the pieces and putting them together.
NOTE: You will need a 12x24 inch mat and a Cricut Expression machine for the giant character.
